One thing that truly amazes me is how poor the average person seems to be at spelling. In the course of my work, I receive correspondence from people in a whole cross section of industries. While they may vary in age, seniority, and sex, overall, it is rare that I receive a well-worded and error free email. Simply put, it just doesn't happen.
Of course, I have also been known to blunder on more than one occassion, such as the time when I described at great length how a "shit" was absolutely necessary for the success of a given project. Naturally, the "shift" I intended to speak of got lost somewhat in the unintended humour of my oversight :(
Anyhow, today I thought I would share a great example of how important good spelling is. See the attached image.
